SALTED FISH

Saithe is a mainstay of traditional Norwegian cuisine. Slightly grey in colour, the flesh of the saithe is firm and well suited for most traditional methods of conservation, such as drying, salting and smoking.

FROZEN H&G

Saithe is both a pelagic and a demersal fish. It swims in shoals, which can be enormous in good habitats with plenty of food. Like the other fish in the cod family, saithe is an excellent source of protein.
