Nergård is an integrated fishery group whose business activities include catching, processing and sales and we are proud to be the second largest in our field in Northern Norway. We sell our products to markets throughout the world from our locations north of the Arctic Circle. The cold, clean waters on our doorstep contain some of the largest and best managed stocks of groundfish and pelagic species in the world. This provides us with access to raw materials of exceptional quality and gives us the best possible basis for our operating our business activities.
We have grown slowly but surely since 1947, initially as a family business and later as a group with national owners. Nergård owns trawlers and production companies from Lofoten to West Finnmark. We invest regularly in our vessels and production facilities to stay one step ahead of our competitors. We have a continuous focus on profitability and development to ensure that Nergård continues to be a leading player in the North Norwegian fisheries industry in the future.
