CAPELIN ROE

Many consider capelin roe to be a delicacy. Capelin roe of good quality is especially in demand in the Japanese market and in Russia and Ukraine. In years with abundant catches, most of the capelin is used as industrial fish, i.e. in the production of fish oil and fishmeal.
